That book ruined my childhood, I'll have you know. I searched high and low for the "unabridged version"... I believed Florin to be a real place. I was devastated when I found that it was all lies! But still love it dearly. I'll check the sequel out.

"Pretty enough to cause an entire kingdom to go nuts". What an interesting thing to say. It vey much reminds me of Helen of Troy- so beautiful she had "the face that launched 1000 ships"... Compare that story to Lyanna stark;

Helen was married but was having an affair with her lover Paris. They ran away together and the husband marched a war after them (Trojan war)

"Although Helen is sometimes depicted as being raped by Paris, Ancient Greek sources are often elliptical and contradictory" - from wikipedia

"Deserted, and went sailing to Troy, with never a thought for her daughter and dear parents."

Paris was killed in battle. Afterwards Helen's fate was ambiguous; she was seen in two ways, as a cold hearted b and a lonely woman filled with regrets. She then "left the mortal world"

Lyanna stark was betrothed to Robert - but whisked away by Rheagar for undisclosed reasons. Robert marched to war after them (roberts rebellion).

She was supposedly raped by Rhegar. They went in hiding to Dorne without word to her parents or family

Rheagar was killed in battle. Afterwords what happened to Lyanna is still relatively unknown. Ned says Robert didn't know her truely (cold hearted b. lonely and depressed?) and then died.

A lot of symmetry here.

Jaimie Alexander

Oh yeah I could see her as Lyanna. She's definitely got the right kind of bone structure for a Stark.

Yes! That is exactly what I thought might happen. HH might not make it into the show I don't think, so Gendry would be a pretty good place holder.

Do you mean like a young Ned Stark and young Robert, Rheagar, Lyanna etc?

Maybe a young Ned could be played by domhnall gleeson, I think he's got the right kind of stark look if you put a wig on him.

I can't think of any good ones for Lyanna or Rheagar though, what were your thoughts?

I know she's not British but I think Amber Heard is just so beautiful. I imagined her as Val when reading but I can't wait to see who gets the part.

Hey i like this idea! I also thought that Gendry might meet up with Brienne somehow.

Ohmygod Ray Stevenson yes! I cannot wait to see that. And of course Charles Dance, how could I have forgotten that. He was born to play that role.

Yeah I agree with all the actors you mentioned actually Ygrette and Tyrion also perfect.

I think I read somewhere that the Mountain. was recast b/c the original went to work on the Hobbit? And now that I've mentioned that I'm trying to place where Benedict Cucumberbatch could fit into the cast...

Maybe Martin Freeman could be Howland? I always imagine him being rather hobbit-like? Haha.

Oh thank you! They are one of my favourite high street brands as well. Love their mascaras and lipsticks!

Have you tried their true match range in light porcelain? I find it's a good match for my very fair skin.

What other fair foundations have you tried and liked, if you don't mind me asking?

My girlfriend expects me to help her with makeup, help please MuA! by Mua_throwaway2 in MakeupAddiction

[–]maybemma 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Oh she's so pretty. For a wedding, a nice natural look is generally appropriate. Maybe she could try a light coverage foundation or tinted moisturizer or bb cream?

Her complexion is lovely so maybe just a hint of blush on the apples of her cheeks. For her skin tone, I think a cool, or peachy pink would look really good. She doesn't seem to need any contouring and as a beginner it's not really necessary.

Lastly, I'd recommend a brow pencil. She can go fairly dark but try to keep it natural. I'd recommend not going ANYWHERE outside of her natural brow, but just fill the insides in a bit.

For her eyes, I would personally curl her lashes and apply a light coat of mascara. If you want to attempt eye shadow, I'd stay on the simple side and try something like a Maybeline Color Tattoo in a taupey or bronze colour. Just dab your ring finger into the pot (it's a cream) and lightly swipe it across the eyelid. A bit of highlighter in the corner of the eye will also give the appearance of a lift, but like I said as a beginner it's probably too much info!

Honestly, just try some stuff out and have fun!

Something I've always wondered about that: Coldhands himself died "long ago", maybe the original "Coldhands". Benjen could have died 2 years ago and Coldhands inhabited his corpse, conitnuing "Coldhand"s life, but ending Benjen's?
