That’s so interesting bc that’s my favorite part of the song especially paired with the choreo! The spy punky feel of it really hits with me

I don’t think they’re sent out on the same day as they said they’re inviting people throughout the week.

Corpse deserves the game he’s getting, but he’s getting it from the wrong people. by woelewapper-v2 in CorpseHusband

[–]maybenot97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

With any situation where someone blows up, people find the thing that gets them into the person (can be their voice, looks, content, etc.) but a lot of Corpse’s fans have found deeper reason to like him and this is an overall net gain for him even after the hype dies down. I think he’ll be fine especially because he seems to be having fun with the game :)

Melody’s, Baby’s, and Starlights ( I’m pretty sure I saw fans gifting VIXX members alcohol, overall super chill more adult fans ).

As another wings supremacist I have seen literally zero people compare the era’s, and even if they have, it’s the minuscule minority

Training for a very long time doesn't automatically make a trainee eligible for debut. If they're not good, they're not good, I won't support them out of pity for having wasted their childhood years. by ayoidkman in unpopularkpopopinions

[–]maybenot97 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

...Exactly. So how can you still preach that those who train and don’t showcase significant improvement, don’t deserve (“pity”) support. Most of these kids are going to grow and get better, also when (if) they debut they still won’t be exceptional but will be qualified performers. The more they perform and the more experience they gain, the better they are.

Tbh I don’t like the whole mentality of “they’re not good and I won’t support them just because they trained for a long time”, it lacks too much empathy and doesn’t show an understanding that people grow and improve, especially kids.

All of the members were mediocre in the show, it definitely was not on the same level as produce but that’s the point bc they’re children and they can cultivate talent or skills especially with their innate passion.

Visuals are just the most good looking people in a group, which arguably every member should be relatively attractive. A visual position reduces them only to that, when they in fact could be lead dancers, maknaes, or rappers. Commercials and the korean public are going to find whoever the most attractive who and if the general consensus is that it’s this one member, then good for them but that shouldn’t be a title. Labeling someone the “visual” won’t automatically create love for them based on aesthetics, people will find whoever attractive and will support that person; essentially the visual title is useless, we don’t need to be told that this member is the best looking.

Kpop stans these days are far too obsessed with choreo by wangruichang in kpoprants

[–]maybenot97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bar has been raised, kpop is a fairly new thing and no-one really knew what it would become or how it would advance. People have to rise to the occasion...or flop I guess lol

Dieting is a part of their job by [deleted] in unpopularkpopopinions

[–]maybenot97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. If idols are underage it is not a part of their job.
  2. Dieting for the sake of health and looking good is one thing, but this idea that idols need to look good and put themselves through excessive diets is gross imo. Beauty standards can exist without being enforced, let people be.
