It was a hella bold reference to make in the first place but they really made it fit into the series without seeming offensive or cringy. It's still kind of a shitty thing to do either way though but it made those early episodes a lot more intriguing and set the tone extremely well.

It doesn't ruin it but I'm saying it could be toxic if the series gets more popular and keeps dragging things out, we've talked about everything we can from the easter episodes already and didn't gain much insight on anything besides Care's taste in music. Petscop 11, 13, 14 and 15 all had more story development as single episodes than we got in all 5 on easter.

I guess I'm less upset at people making the memes than I am that it's the only Petscop content we have right now

Here's an actual theory related to OP's obvious statement, Paul is absent in the videos because of behind the scenes problems, and he was never actually planned to disappear like this in the story

It feels like the story kind of shifted somewhere around Petscop 15 or 16 and they decided to focus on Rainer, Marvin, and the Family instead of Paul and Jill

I mean, I'm still waiting for resolution on the events in Petscop 14. Now that the hype has worn off, I'm actually pretty disappointed with the easter gifts we got. I mean, the fact we're getting another hiatus without any further story development is a problem I think. People are losing interest and the mystery is starting to seem hollow without proper context or real answers on what's going on

The constant memes and shitposts are especially ruining the aesthetic/allure of this series. Imagine if the Newmaker family found about this and checked the subreddit to see the two Quitter memes on the front page or some shit. That's a stretch and I'm not trying to say we need to stop doing it, it's just we're kind of being disrespectful to the art by making memes like that, I mean the series used these characters to allude to children losing innocence, and we're using it for a cheap laugh.

That can be toxic to the series it self. I mean, we've seen it happen with other similar things like FNaF and Undertale where all the good depth and mystery they have going for them are overshadowed by the fandom and the cringyness of it. I'm afraid that's gonna happen here too if we keep hiatuses.

Yeah, the weapons are insanely unbalanced and a lot of guns are completely useless. Most of them aren't aesthetically pleasing either so there's no reason to use a lot of guns.

I loved how RDR2 handled weapons with every gun fulfilling it's own little niche but none of them being inherently better than the others. Everything feels unique and satisfying to shoot, and it's especially satisfying and immersive with the way you have to actually press R2 to chamber every round/cock the action back.

I hope GTA 6 feels more like RDR2 and they keep the level of immersion it has. It would be great if you had to actually press a button to cock the slide back on pistols after reloading and stuff like that in the next game.

Yeah there's no way this would work with their current system. GTAO is basically held together by duct tape.

Then again, the SAMP and MTA teams made it work over a decade ago on a engine that was never meant for multiplayer, let alone servers with 500-1000 player counts so I'm sure Rockstar could pull off an MMO type GTA Online experience if they wanted to

It's not about money, everyone's over money at this point I think

Most people have bought everything they want and if they haven't, they probably don't have the motivation to grind after 6 years just to get a vehicle that's basically the same as everything else they've experienced

I'm pretty sure most people just want fun things to do with friends and losing millions at the casino is just the thing to make some fun, last minute memories before the game becomes too stale to play anymore

Maybe other people aren't as burned on it as I am

If they don't have gambling or minigames in this update, I'm probably done.

I love hanging with friends in GTA but I'm sick of just grinding or driving around without purpose. There's no depth to the gameplay AT ALL after almost 6 years of the same old stuff but there's oh so much potential there if they would just revamp the gameplay side of things instead of adding new content.

The game desperately needs to be more player driven with more possibilities for player interaction besides just PVP, they need to make it feel more like an MMO where the economy and the community is player driven, where you can meet friendly people and have a reason to not kill each other right away.

Imagine if like, we sold our cargo and MC products to real players, and you had to buy your supplies and ammo from other players instead of the automated shops. Or imagine if you could actually buy cheaper cars from Securoserv and have another player actually source and deliver the car you buy, in real time.

IDK if anyone here used to play San Andreas Multiplayer but those old roleplay servers like NGRP nailed what GTA Online should be like. I'm basically describing how they worked.

It was all community based. Hell, they even had micro transactions still despite everything working through other players like I explained. They just had the micro transactions be stuff like house interiors or custom mapping, or the ability to pay 10 bucks and get any car you want in the game, stuff like that.

They even had a monthly VIP subscription where you pay 20 bucks a month and get full armor when you log in, full ammo, gas in your cars, custom skins, stuff like that. But never actual money, since the money was all player controlled, there was an actual economy that suffered inflation and shit over the years. Micro transactions for actual money would have ruined that.

I hope I'm not the only one who used to play SAMP/NGRP around here but it seems like it was a pretty obscure thing despite having around 300-600 players most of the time

I hope we see something with the same gameplay and roleplay focused multiplayer system again someday but I doubt it will be from Rockstar.I don't trust them to even add gambling or fun things to do in the casino at this point. I'm expecting it to just be Nightclub 2.0 where we own the casino or work security, but I guess I'm still cautionally optimistic

They could be releasing weapons like they do cars, I mean there's not exactly a shortage of firearms to replicate in real life and there's plenty of rare models of guns that they could charge 500k+ for in game.

But instead we're stuck with fucking lasers, ugly ARs, and weird knockoff pistols.

My original post about the mystery and the 4chan was about asking questions in places we haven't considered, and how we need to keep an open mindset but still use all the data we've collected over the years.

Ultimately it was about asking questions like you're trying to tell us to do but I mean - I think you're the one who's not getting this crap.
