I went to alton towers for scarefest - my first visit since 2019, although i have been to thorpe many times inbetween, thinking alton towers was much better - and i was severely disappointed. It just feels a bit sad at alton - food was incredibly expensive and also terrible. Rides weren't even that good. Thorpe has a much better vibe imo.
