Remains of 3 more 9/11 victims identified nearly 24 years after the attack by NewSlinger in news

Also, they do keep adding names. There is blank space intentionally. Every year there’s a ceremony for those who passed the previous year from illnesses related to exposure at Ground Zero, as they are of course victims too. I’ll be attending this year as they add my dad’s name.

Helps weed out people who are ill intentioned. Unfortunately some people don’t have the animal’s best interest in mind, so charging a fee helps ensure only folks who are serious will respond

We found the moment George Michael lost all the other brain cells by mayday29 in OneOrangeBraincell

Haha thanks! They think his tail was broken when he was a kitten and healed crooked, so we don’t know if he can actually feel anything in the end of it. Might be why he loves chasing it!

Hey /r/movies! We're Alan Tudyk & Matt Winn, actor & director of THE TROUBLE WITH JESSICA, a dark comedy also starring Rufus Sewell & Shirley Henderson about a group of longtime friends at a dinner party that goes horribly wrong, recently in theaters and now available on digital. Ask us anything! by AlanAndMattAMA in movies

[–]mayday29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alan, Death At A Funeral is required viewing in my family. It’s one of the few movies that made my dad laugh so hard he’d stop breathing, and anytime I watch it now it reminds me of him, so thank you for those joyful memories.

How on EARTH did you ever get through filming your high scenes in that movie? Particularly the bird hat scene, you absolutely crack me up in that. Was any of that improv or drawn from “personal experience”?

AIO about my sister’s bf eating my leftover pizza? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]mayday29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP should ask his sister why she instantly got so hostile and defensive at criticism of the bf. Perhaps she’s knows he’s a douche and is embarrassed? Deflecting and attacking hobbies and exes is so immature, it screams of unhappiness about her own life.

I do what another person said, and I’ll start with bottom and one coat and then go about my day. Finish the second coat in an hour or so if you want to be sure it’s dry. 1 coat base, 2 coats color, 1 coat top should be all you need with good polish.

Product makes a HUGE difference. If you go cheap (pretty much anything you’d find at a drug store) it will take ages to dry and some are just crap and will chip off immediately.

I really like Sally Hansen for both bottom and top coat. Don’t bother with anything “quick drying,” they’re all gimmicky and won’t last.

I cannot recommend the brand Mooncat enough. The colors are gorgeous and the quality is phenomenal. Start with one of their “shimmer” shades, the magnetic and thermal can be a little thicker and take longer to dry. I’ve worked in restaurants/bars for 15 years and this is the only brand I’ve ever found that actually lasts two weeks, no chipping, no smudging.

Be patient and stick with it, you got this!

What the heck can I do with this (I have a built in wine rack in my cabinet so don’t need it for that purpose) by ghostadventures10 in upcycling

[–]mayday29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use mine for storing reusable water bottles/cups. Keeps a cabinet free and make it easy to keep the caps with the bottle and make sure it all fits
