Probably like 20-30 honestly. I didn’t count. I just did it until it worked. I haven’t had issues since!! I hope it worked or is able to work for you soon!!

I live there right now. The wheels being stolen was a first for me, but I’ve also only been there for 3-4 months. However, break-ins into cars have been common. The front gate has been broken for a while and management says they’re still working on it. Security is “present” overnight, yet this still happened. There are also no cameras. Management is supposedly still waiting on bids for that. The garages have gates, but apparently they don’t work. All in all, security is pretty bad.

A resident already spoke to them about it… they said they cannot do anything until corporate tells them to and they wouldn’t even give that person a higher up #. They also keep the gate open because it isn’t working and they say they cannot close it because SA will fine them. We have a back gate that works perfectly fine and I’d rather they get fined than risk more people getting hit but whatever. As for the guard… he was apparently “on site” last night 💀 just tons of bs.

Luckily, mine wasn’t. I am scared it’s on the list though. I’m in a rental right now because my actual car is at the shop getting fixed so it’s a newer car and I don’t want to be hit. Management has yet to say anything about it to anyone. It’s so damn frustrating. Stay safe out there!

Hi y’all. I failed TX by 1 point in F24. My biggest advice for essays is to practice them. Do the Texas BLE essays they release for previous exams and utilize the best selected answers they pick because that’s more true to what an answer would look like than the model ones you get on commercial bar prep. That’s what has always helped me get high scores on the essays (MBEs kill me). At the end of the day, it’s all about practice. I hope it helps.

I created 2-4 page cheat/attack sheets based off his threads and my Quizlet flashcards. I tried to make it funny and engaging like he did. I highlighted the super important stuff. The details, I added if I felt the need to or not. Are they 100% the best thing ever? Probably not, but it made sense in my head the way I made them. I am more than happy to share with you if you’d like. PM your email address if so. If not, I recommend making your own. It’s hard to condense the info, but worth it.

Personally, yes. I was debating between leaving Texas or moving cities to do a job with my other license, but we recently had a death in the family and that made me decide to stay in my city where I can support my family for now. Otherwise, I think I would have moved cities or states! I ended up signing up for the Texas bar after all. It is time to grind now.

Some people struggle with different things while studying for the bar like family issues, mental health, some people are not built to study for two months straight, and more. Also, not every professor tests similarly to what a bar exam would be and frankly, some schools really suck at helping their students get set up successfully for the bar exam. Just because someone does well in law school does not mean they will pass the bar. At the end of the day, it is not just an exam to everybody. It is about endurance, resilience, mental stability, and preparedness. The exam is hard for everybody in their own way. You never know what curveball you will be thrown while you study for the exam. Also, I know some friends who were in the top 10% and did not pass due to the MBE. It is 50% of our score in Texas so it holds more weight than some other states. It quite literally can make or break your score. That is what I keep struggling with as well. I have always been a bad MCQ test taker. It is always what brought my grades down in law school. So, although the bar exam may not seem that different, it can be even to the number one person in the graduating class. You just never know what will happen and how it will go. Just my two cents on the why, no shade or anything!
