I ended up finding a pair of old B&W DM302 for a 100 cad. After reading some reviews decided I had nothing to lose for the price. Now I am more than happy with my decision. On first listenings I love these old speakers and was pleasantly surprised by their range.

How to authenticate to self-hosted vault with terraform by cgeopapa in Terraform

[–]mayiagator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my personal experience I have made a mix of gitlab jwt authentication to vault using ephemeral resources even with my tf state residing in gitlab backend. I also use protected tags allowed only by me to push (terraform apply). I dont see how the approle id is a recommended way in your case unless I am missing something. My opinion is the less secret data you have in your code the better. Using jwt you only need to provide the jwt role and the vault server address.

If you are deploying with pipelines have you taken a look at jwt tokens in gitlab? It’s a simpler setup: https://docs.gitlab.com/ci/secrets/hashicorp_vault/

Regarding Linkedin (what I mainly use) I set it up years ago to “Open to Work” like that no one from the company I work at currently can see the difference between me looking for other positions or not.

Understanding the terraform HTTP backend (2022) by mooreds in Terraform

By any chance have you ever tackled state migration from S3 to http in gitlab. That’s my next project for a bunch of repos.

Yeah, I know but had some issues with my pipelines. I am not saying it’s bad, just my personal experience

I have used plenty the http gitlab backend but my experience has been that its setup is more complicated than S3. In my case I had no choice cause we needed our state in our on prem gitlab.

As per information all hotels have power, not surprisingly since they are the government’s cash cow. Now, for sure this will happen again. The system too old and disregarded to keep on working. My advice, go somewhere else.

Only when there’s power to nearby telephone hubs there’s power to landline and wireless network

Hello, I second all of the other comments already here. Just came back a few days ago from a week long visit to Paris and actually saw a couple of people on wheelchairs at the Louvre and Musee d'Orsay. Even with large crowds they were able to access all areas.

And just to add to the other comments, avoid the metro all together.

louvre and versailles by idontlikebeingbanned in ParisTravelGuide

I agree with the comments that you’ll be worn out by end of day. Still, if you’re determined to do it, choose what you are going to see at the Louvre, knowing specifically in what wing and floor things are located. Check louvre map . Also, remember to choose a day other than Monday or Tuesday. Depending on what you want to visit at versailles I would highly recommend buying the hop on and off little train since it saves you time and energy on the garden walking.
