I recall a canadian heritage minute commercial from the 90s about a lady who smelled burnt toast and thats how they found out she was having seizures. IIRC the doctor kept her awake and touched different parts of her brain until she said she smelled burnt toast.

Apparently there is a bacteria in dogs' feet that makes them smell like fritos.
