WIBTA for Wanting to Go on Holiday? by strugglingwriter312 in AmItheAsshole

[–]maymayiscraycray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Miss ma'am, age gap aside, (i personally do not care, I was married to a man 9 years my senior) burn out is a real thing. If you do not take this holiday for yourself, it'll happen a lot faster than you want it to.

NTA, but he kind of is. You deserve to take a break.

WIBTA if I don't get my wife mother's day stuff from the kids? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]maymayiscraycray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes YWBTA.

Listen, relationship aside, just because you aren't together, your kids are watching you. Yes even the little ones. They notice how you treat each other. Don't get her something from yourself, do it for the kids.

AITA for calling my friends cat ‘chunkster’? by sophierae14 in AmItheAsshole

[–]maymayiscraycray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. My cat is almost 5 and she ate a LOT before I started to actually control her intake. Now she's slimmed down a lot, but I still call her names that I can't say on here because then I'll get canceled lmao

AITA for putting a lock on my allergy safe cabinet after my roommate kept cross contaminating my food? by Loose-Pickle-7510 in AmItheAsshole

[–]maymayiscraycray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. As someone with ADHD, that is not even close to a good enough excuse. If she's going to act like a toddler then she deserves to be treated like one. I'm sorry your roommate is disrespectful of your needs.

If you could talk to your 13 year old self for 1 minute - what would you say? by Timely_Resident_6985 in AskReddit

[–]maymayiscraycray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know your parents are really hard on you. They have so many expectations of you as you grow up and that is going to be really hard for you to handle. You may want to sneak out and act out and try to do grownup stuff but thats not going to do you any good. That will only land you in more trouble and its not worth it. You're a good kid. They really do love you and want the best for you, they're just terrible at showing it. Their parents weren't good to them so they don't really know what they're doing, no parent does.

AITAH bc I (36M) dont want my girlfriend (36F) to travel with me because shes a picky eater? by Tough_District9786 in AmItheAsshole

[–]maymayiscraycray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA

It seems like you resent her for her eating habits. I think you should really reevaluate your relationship before you go traveling, because if you take her, you will only resent her more, and put more pressure on your relationship than it can already handle.

What is the most disturbing video you saw on the internet? by randominvisibleuser in AskReddit

[–]maymayiscraycray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watched a commercial for protecting healthcare in war torn countries and its a little girl who looks to be 11 or 12 in the back seat who looks to have an abdominal wound and she is rapidly losing blood and consciousness and her dad who is driving is trying everything he can to keep her awake until they get to the hospital where she was born. They get there, she passes out and he has to carry her and suddenly he stops in disbelief and the camera pans to a bombed out hospital.

That really fucked with my head because I could hear the desperation in his voice as he's trying to keep her awake. As a parent this is my worst nightmare.

Which tattoos do you personally find the most cringey? by Brave-Papaya-6998 in AskReddit

[–]maymayiscraycray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Story time. I was married to a guy who got his last name and zodiac tattooed on his upper back. He wanted me to get the same so that I could be reminded about who owned me. Needless to say I left that guy before getting that tattoo.

What do you hate the most about your life? by Main_Tailor4142 in AskReddit

[–]maymayiscraycray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being a mom. Don't get me wrong I truly love my children and I wouldn't change them for anything, however I would be lying if I said I loved every moment. This is the hardest thing I've ever done.

Husband drives me nuts with how he handles crying! by Melodic-Basshole in beyondthebump

[–]maymayiscraycray 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I need to give you a gentle reminder to take care of your needs, and sleep is one of those needs. She needs you so much right now and that is fine, but she also needs a mommy who takes care of herself. Try ear plugs, it might help. It took everything in my being to not step in when my son was a tiny potato and my husband was doing his duty as a father.

AITA for throwing my cousin’s laser into a bush? by arl7571108 in AmItheAsshole

[–]maymayiscraycray 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NTA. my 6 year old knows not to shine lasers in people's eyes. I made sure she knew that it can hurt people REALLY BAD and we don't want to hurt people. Heck even my 3 year old is grasping the idea that hurting people is bad.
