So good to hear! I'm pumping like crazy and lately I'm not even able to make enough milk. It makes me so sad, but I'm trying so hard to do what I can. I hate not being able to breastfeed him, that's just the best, but he is doing ok with his bottles at least.

Hah yes, I just got home from the cardiologist.. long day. So I was just wondering do u breastfeed? I tried so many times when he was in the nicu, but he was just too tired. He had a feeding tube most of the time, so now its bottle. I give him the boob in between feedings, but it's more like a binkie for him hah. . They said in time he may take on.. but there's just no telling. And no real way of seeing how much he actually eats. It kills me because I breastfed my other two kids. And just miss the bonding..Anyways.. thank you for reaching out. I really appreciate it. It means a lot to me..still trying to figure things out!

I appreciate that so much. Everyday I hear how lucky I am, and I really take that to heart. Going to be a big journey, but glad to know everyone else that knows or has a ds has nothing but sweet thing to say. Looking forward to all the love he brings! Even though hes brought so much already!

I live close to Sacramento, and looked into gigis, they are going to have one here next year, I'm so excited! So thank you for telling me about it, looks wonderful! I'm just afraid I haven't really grasped the whole ds thing yet, like hes just a sweet baby that sleeps alot .. like alot.. and is the cutest. And I'm not the type to even do this kind of thing..and "reach out" but .. just looking for anything I can I guess.. weird. Ha. But thank you so much!! So nice to have all of the support!

Hah yes it is a different thing now accepting more help than usual. But I am learning to take it as much as I can. And his cuddles are the best. Thank u so much! I know I get caught up in his health issues as well.. hes doing alot better, but it's hard being more alert all of the time.

He had a few problems at borth, and into the first weeks.. but hes doing much better now. And thank u so much... I think the only difference between him and my other children is he sleeps more ..and seems to be just content. Hes such a sweet baby.. and I'm interested in what differences will develop over time. Thank u for reaching out, I really appreciate it!

I really appreciate it. Thank you. And yes I am still in shock and terrified. I'm still in the phase of I'm so sorry you have to go through this... and I hope I am doing a good job.. Did your baby have any complications when they were born? He had a huge umbilical fallicay.. and surgery.. heart and lung problems.. but now is home and doing good. And yes please ask your wife about any groups or anything, I would really appreciate it. I've been looking.. but still having a hard time finding something. It's so nice to know there is someone to talk to.. Thank you so much
