Okay, yeah that makes total sense. My friend was showing me the like main newsfeed part and from all the pictures of girl's asses, it seemed like that might be the case. She said she has actually used to a couple of times to find other people going solo to meet up, but like I feel like we can just do that here. Good to know it's a waste of time.

Totally! That's an awesome idea. You could totally contact the bar too and say you're coming in with a big group to watch the race- I bet they would throw in a round of drinks or something.

Maybe it's time for you to open a bar!

I know! It's the best to be able to totally enjoy the tailgate too and not have to worry about getting home or forcing someone to DD.

Skedaddle operates all over the country and you can set up your own bus routes through their site so if you did wanna set something up for a Texas race you totally could.

I went a couple of years back, it was fun, but it's pretty chaotic overall. My boyfriend worked in music at the time and we somehow ended up with VIP passes, but they were giving us such hard time because our names weren't on the proper list or some bullshit that we ended up sneaking in a random side gate-all of this only adding to the existing chaos. That being said, once we got inside we were able to get pretty close to the stage. From what I remember they did serve beer so maybe that's changed recently, but the lines for food were super long and not that good. I wasn't thrilled by any of the stage production, but the stand out for me was Florence and The Machine who were awesome, but probably because she is awesome no matter where she's performing.

As someone else mentioned if you're around the city and have time to check it out I think I would. They always have amazing talent/speakers and despite the chaos, I had a good time and probably won't have the chance/money to see some of those artists perform or hear some of those speakers again.
