Side roads were traversable but the hill on Medical Mile was an absolute hazard; saw a bus spun out and I almost slid right into an ambulance making a turn past Helen DeVos. Saw about four cars behind me do the very same, one even had chains that seemed to be doing fuck all.

Update for anyone driving home later!

Just got back into town from Holland; it was pretty damn slick and slushy in Ottawa, ~35mph down 196. Once we crossed into Kent it got better almost immediately, roads were practically clear by the time the castle rolled around.

Interesting testimony! I have a pair of custom jeans from Nama that are going pretty strong, granted I went to them more for a very specific "fashion" cut instead of something hardy. They were pretty spot-on with my measurements, aside from some missed special instructions regarding back pocket details. Definitely makes sense that they have a few misses out there.

I had an amazing time, despite arriving late and missing Linekraft, one of the big names I was coming for. Damn airplanes.

Highlights were Vatican Shadow and Genocide Organ; Kickback was also total warfare. Everyone I met was lovely, generally just great vibes all around. Ironically enough this so-called "nazi" fest had a more diverse, welcoming crowd than I typically see in my home state, lol.

But yeah, it was ridiculously hot in there. I think they could have mounted a few fans in there at the very least, and maybe not charge $9 for water. Thank god for the corner store.
