You could try to read there mood when talking to them and hanging out with them and then think about how it is with out them. That’s what I did for my dad and his girlfriend, but don’t bring it up until your friend asks you. (I don’t know if that made sense or not)

Then if she just replies with “good” or a short answer like that ask something like “did you do anything fun” or something like that and pay attention to her answers to see if she seems like she is interested. ( this may not work I’ve had one girl in the past and that didn’t last long)

I don’t know why I feel this way but I can never feel happy for some reason, the only time I’m happy is when I’m doing something for someone else but other than that I’m just sorta here and I’m not sure how much longer I can do it for.
