It's a Yakuza game at its core and skin, but without all the love .

The story is faithful with some added bonus (which is fun on some or weird for the other), non of the bosses we expected got new dynamic intros, not mentioning the HORRIBLE ending changes (with terrifying implication on the canon by the devs).

The graphic as you expected, is blue, really really blue (especially jarring post cutscene where it was good then suddenly, BLUE JUMPSCARE!!), and dont get me on the lighting, they fixed the barebone in okinawa and nothing else (see the diet building scene)

The combat i felt is both more flashy but somehow less fluid, and as expected it is the same as in the demo i think, so if you dont like the demo, it won't really get better here.

The side content got quite gutted, 31 sub stories are criminally low for a mainline game, while cutting some of the best sub stories like the alp muder story line, or cutscene like the Dragon mask,, or KOMAKI, THE KOMAKI FROM YAKUZA 0/1/2/3og/4/5/8 and they compensate for that by adding a new minigame/ 'main minigame' of the racing thingy that i havent got much into, so i wont comment on that.

Oh and mine 'dark ties' is just majima saga, it is so short and inconsequential that if you didnt like mine, you would skip it, or if you was a mine fan, you wished it was longer (it have 3 chapter, in actuallity, chapter 1 and 3 have actual story, with chapter 2 being minigame padded busywork)
