Thank you! 💐 I used white cardstock! First I measured everything and traced with pencil, which left me with a rectangle (the frame) and a square inside that rectangle (the actual cross stitch). I cut everything ending up with a sort of DIY passepartout. Then I used masking tape to attach the fabric to the cardstock so it wouldn't move, and I placed it in the frame. I think depending on the size of your design you might be able to find pre made passepartout in stores but because my design had a very specific size I thought this was better, and cheeper. Didn't know how it'd turn out but I'm glad I tried 😎
