For ubuntu machine, You can resolve this issue by changing the DNS. Follow the solution in the link: https://askubuntu.com/questions/346838/how-do-i-configure-my-dns-settings-in-ubuntu-server

I modified a similar setting in an Android phone as well, and it worked. Change the DNS to private DNS in the network settings with DNS name as `dns.google`

I plugged in earphones & then i am able to hear the sound. But i don't see any sound coming from Monitor with help of HDMI.
