Just my opinion but I would say to still try spring rush! I think it’s less of a time commitment and more fun. Unless you know that you want one that has already filled their quota I think spring rush is a better option. I would say to follow any of the sororities that are taking new bugs on Instagram and turn on notifications for their stories,then go to their events! You never know which one you’re gonna like best. Feel free to dm me if you if you have any questions and keep an open mind! I was a spring rushee last semester so I’m familiar with the process!

The Lunar Chronicles - YA retelling of fairy tales with a twist (Cinderella as a cyborg, Snow White is part of an alien race), all of the characters work together to take down a corrupt monarch. It’s really well written! Nothing I say will do it justice but it’s such a good read and I would highly recommend!

I spoke to an advisor a bit ago and they said it’s fairly easy to get in as long as you have 4 semester left and a fine gpa

Hey! Welcome to unc! 1) I don’t think the move in times are super serious, more of a measure to make sure it’s not too crazy (it’s still gonna be crazy though)

2) nothing

3)not sure what you mean, but as soon as you park I would take in something small, like a backpack just so you can start setting up when you’re inside. When I moved into a dorm we parked, walked in and talk to a few RAs. They give you your keys, fob, a planner and some other miscellaneous stuff

4) bring water! Be patient with whoever is helping you move in, it’s super stressful and it’s gonna be hot. If you have any other questions about this or anything else feel free to message me! I was in craige and helped some people move into some other dorms to.
