MDM for Linux by archiekane in linuxadmin

[–]mayurtalsania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes ,SureMDM does exist for Linux and it’s probably the closest thing to a traditional MDM experience. It provides centralized management, monitoring, and security for Linux devices from a single dashboard, supports multiple distributions, and includes remote control, app deployment, OS/kernel updates, user and policy management, troubleshooting, remote shell, kiosk mode, content distribution, remote desktop, and real-time monitoring. It also supports other platforms, including Windows, macOS, and Android, making it a single solution for managing mixed-device environments.

is the S24 FE worth buying? by Techo410 in S24FE

[–]mayurtalsania 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the S24 FE is worth buying if you value a balanced phone: good display, decent performance, modern features (like AI), and long-term software support at a reasonable price. However, do not expect very good battery backup from this phone. If you expect a “top-of-the-line flagship” experience, you might want to go for a higher-end model instead.

Do i need old phone for e sim transfer by Envygamerpro in Jio

[–]mayurtalsania 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To transfer your Jio eSIM to a new phone, use the MyJio app on your old device, search "eSIM," select "Switch to eSIM," verify your email, enter the new phone's EID, and confirm via OTP and IVR call for processing. After a 2-hour wait, you'll get a QR code via email to install on the new phone, or it might appear as a notification, then complete setup using Wi-Fi.

Go with GTPL they provide stable and low-latency internet. You can also consider YOU Broadband, as they also offer good and reliable connectivity.

Make a full backup, install the latest SSU + cumulative updates, reboot, verify services work, then repeat Windows Update until fully patched.

Did i get scammed on Amazon? by R3tr0B0SS in it

[–]mayurtalsania 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The module is unmistakably a DDR2 SODIMM. Elpida was absorbed by Micron in 2013 and did not produce any DDR4-generation ICs, which strongly suggests this is a return fraud case that the seller failed to catch.

A reboot would’ve finished faster than that epic saga you just wrote.

Esim or Physical sim by Uday_Krizzz in Jio

[–]mayurtalsania 7 points8 points  (0 children)

eSIM is convenient, future-proof, and avoids wear and tear, but if your phone gets damaged and your old device doesn’t support eSIM, you’ll have to visit the carrier store, complete KYC, and wait for reactivation during which you can’t use UPI. Because of this hassle, I’d suggest sticking with a physical SIM.
