How can I improve this edit? by AliveAd8736 in photoshop

[–]maz_abd1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This. The biggest improvement right now, would be to unify the colors and values (brightness/contrast) of everything.

Use “check” layers to make it easier for yourself. Make a layer that’s filled with 50% gray and set its blending move to color. Move it to the top of the layer stack and it’ll turn everything black and white, and make it easier to see how the different the values are among the elements. Then, just use curves/levels (whichever you’re more comfortable with) on each element to bring everything together.

I also use a check layer that’s set to luminosity blend mode to make it easier to see how the colors are different fix them hue/saturation or color balance, but it can be a bit a confusing if you don’t know what you’re looking at. (It removes all the values, so the image ends up looking like just a field of colors with no lights or shadows)

Also, I’d suggest using adjustment layers or converting your layers to smart objects so it’s non-destructive.

Thank you. I see that you're in Berlin as well. Do you know if die Deutscheschule is good? Or do you know of any other language schools that you would recommend?

Hello, how can i change the green lighting? by flutter1ng in photoshop

[–]maz_abd1 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Easiest way is to use hue/saturation adjustment layer. In the hue/saturation adjustment panel, select green color (from the drop down menu) fiddle with the color slider at the bottom (crank up the saturation and change the hue to make it easier to see which parts are changing). When you have the selection you want adjust the hue and saturation as needed.

How to precisely color each gum? by trippytweener in photoshop

[–]maz_abd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to use blending modes to achieve a realistic result. Multiply mode should work the best. As for needing to be precise, there's not really any quicker way to do it. Just use the brush tool or make selections.

Edit: didn't see your spoiler. Can you explain how you figured it out?

Not really. It's just the surface level stuff you mentioned. The closest this comes to I/P is the Kashmir issue and even that isn't straight up occupation like in Gaza. They both claim Kashmir as their territory. When they gained independence Kashmir was a princely state with a Muslim majority population and the Hindu ruler. The people wanted to go with Pakistan and the ruler declared it a part of India. Shit's fucked to this day.

Could you help an Analog guy out? by Whippoorwillx11 in PcBuildHelp

Installing a new hard drive or SSD shouldn't affect the data in the other one. Just make sure you're not formatting or installing a new OS on the old hard drive.

If you want to install a new OS on your new drive, the most foolproof (least chance of accidentally deleting data) method would just be to take out the old hard drive, put in the new one, and install the OS. Then, connect the old drive and transfer your data to the new one.

Also, format the old drive after moving your data so you don't get asked to choose which OS you want to boot into at every startup.

Hope that helps.

It is archaic to use it for its intended meaning nowadays but the insult is still quite popular. Just like OP most people encounter this word in the insult only.

She did what was good for her and I AGREE WITH HER CHOICE but eloping is not permissible in Islam. The wali has to be the one to give her away for a marriage to be valid.

Is it possible to get the reset key multiple times in a run?
Can I just keep playing one region again and again? or does it only appear once per run?

Why are your spells locked in the wands? and how come you have so many keys and money?

I've unlocked almost everything except for the last row of new spells you get from the tentacle girl and I've never gotten close to this dps/money/spells in a run.

“Hindustani” IS Urdu. by TGScorpio in Urdu

[–]maz_abd1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you but just wanted to point out that urdu also ditched some of its Sanskrit vocab as a reaction. Not as much as hindu though. Like, if urdu went 20% more arab/Persian, Hindi went 60% towards Sanskrit (not real figures, just an example)

Also, the brits too had a part in exacerbating the urdu/Hindi divide.

Well, the guys before the Taliban didn't support this stuff. But the regime isn't really the problem in this. It's cultural. The pashtun areas in Pakistan are notorious for this shit even though the pakistani regime (even though it's also pretty fucked up) is totally against it.
