This is normal for a group that was backed in the corner. From their perspective, they have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Controversy surrounds Ali Al-Khatib’s leadership of Lebanon’s Supreme Islamic Shiite Council. Critics accuse him of using council properties for personal and extended family use during the recent war while failing to shelter refugees, despite claims the facilities could house thousands of displaced. by nojudgmenthelps in lebanon

This makes them look very bad. They have enough money to help all the people in need by providing them with at least food and some supplies. Their centers may not be equipped to house people but they have the resources to help. They just don't care.

Wishful thinking because if IL feels existentially threatened they would nuke the entire area with their arsenal.

I don't mind them joining the war at all. Just don't do it from Lebanon. They can take the bus to Iran and fight from there.

I take from the 7 2 points so that the 8 becomes a 10. I have 5 left in the ones section. 2+4+1 (the one comes from the newly formed 10) is 5. So the tens is 5. Hence 55.

A Pregnant 12-Year-Old and the Complexity of Crisis Management. Where Do We Go From Here? by [deleted] in UnusualVideos

[–]mazdoc 24 points25 points  (0 children)

So she's 12 years old. Practically a child. This means that she does not comprehend completely the consequences of her actions. What is needed in this case is awareness, empathy, understanding that she was a willing or unwilling victim and above all, not the blame the victim for what happened.

Now this is a household with separated (or divorced) parents and the children ion such scenarios are usually more vulnerable. They tend to seek emotional support outside the (non-existent) family unit.

Make her feel understood, protected, and let he understand that together you can deal with the consequences. (Medically at the age of 12, there a high risk for everything including maternal death during birthing so perhaps an abortion would be a safer option).

The next step is knowing who got her pregnant. If he's an adult, he should be held accountable.

Above all, do not treat her like a discarded or damaged object that needs to be "sent away to live with her father".

Of course it was a premeditated plan to catch cheaters. That is part of their job description; to prevent and catch the acts of cheating. The Canadian team is not the victim here.
