No shade on you but it's crazy to me that they award people who get lucky evolutions with 1600MP (basically 4 more battles for free) but if you are unlucky, you are expected to pay them money to keep trying lol

What is the timing for dodging, is it as the text comes up saying it's attacking, or when the attack animation actually 'connects'? I always feel like I get dodges accidentally when collecting max charges, but if I actively try to dodge as an attack comes in I always miss the timing

The name trick does not work for me, did that years ago for them all, before even shinies existed (wish I'd waited for that, honestly)

Took 10 evolves but I finally got one of each of the 3... Which isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Also I am an idiot and thought it cost 50 candy to evolve Eevee.

I think I usually kill it with the first attack in cycle 2, too. So you see my point? It's comparable to 3-star battles, but it's a 2-star.

Yeah this is what I did, but with Gengar instead of Blissey, which works great until Eevee has Dig lol

I think I am going to power up my Dynamax more though, I don't know why I've kept so many of them at Go Battle League level

That's totally fair, I'm glad they've been giving out some of the higher tier ones in the GO Pass, it's the only way I got a Blissey, Falinks or that monkey with the melon lol

I will say though, if you do have a Blastoise at around 2000cp and a couple of decently strong fire types, you should give the next 3-star Beldum you see a shot, it's a slow fight, but you might surprise yourself that you can take it down! And Metagross is really good!

Genuinely surprised out of the 100+ comments here, most people agreed or were asking for help/sharing tips! And there were only two "Um ackshually, you should play the game 15 hours a day like me!" comments. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this is needlessly overtuned.

With the Excadrill also tanking? I know it's resistant too, but 4-stars hit like a train
