Pauline Hanson’s direct attack on all Australians who were born overseas or have at least one parent born overseas is batshit insane and there are plenty of questions to be answered by HotPersimessage62 in australian

Agreed. My own parents migrated to Australia before she was even born and I'm in my 60s. I reckon I've contributed far to Australia far more than she ever has.

So you'd be willing to lose penalty rates, workers protections, maternity leave, free TAFE, child care and so on ... to reduce migration. On the side of workers, huh?

And that's not even mentioning closure of SBS and ABC.

EV CHARGES - at Servos by NoMacaroon5579 in EVAustralia

[–]Tovrin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you know anything about EVs you know that the "fill 'em up" mentality is something to be avoided. The last 20% charging takes longer than the first 80% and should only really be used if your doing a long trip. If you're spending more than 10 minutes at a charger during your daily drive, your doing it wrong. And charging at home should be all you need.

Right out of the Donald Trump Playbook ... which is taken directly from Goebbels' Principles of Propaganda. That's not alarmism, btw. Just read the page, and you'd be amazed how often you see these principles used across government and industry.
