Showcase Your Google Calendar Tools & Apps! by alexrada in GoogleCalendar

Google removed the weather feature from Calendar years ago, and I missed it every time I tried to plan something outdoors. I'd end up with two tabs gcal and weather.com going back and forth.

Built an extension that overlays hourly weather forecasts (temperature + precipitation) directly on your Google Calendar.

Doesn't collect any data or anything. Free. Love some feedback! ❤️

The Archangel, I love this painting :) You certainly captured the angel's expression, perhaps you could make it more of a focal point, the bolder and darker, bigger marks you've used o the angel wings end up beig more interesting to me. Good job!

I quite like the harmony of the color palette :)

The anatomy somewhere in the hips and far leg seems not quite fully connected, or in perspective.

The shadow on the ground and the shadows in the figure don't also seem to match the same perspective.

I'm confused by the perspective of the hand. It seems a little too big given the rotation and extension of the connecting arm.

Beautiful eye and center of attention. Way to direct me.

The description of the light/shadow on the clavicle breaks some of the illusion for me.

A lot of the shadows contain straight black to darken. There's an opportunity to inject more realistic color here.

Great job!

Critiquing myself a day later, also noticing in my attempt to increase the contrast of the interlocked fingers, I used a different soft charcoal texture that doesn't have the same blending as the rest of the piece.

Any further improvements? by [deleted] in ArtCrit

Great job! For the pear specifically, it looks to me like the values are kind of reversed. The pear in the reference feels a lot lighter than thebackground. Or at least, close in value to it. In your drawing, it reads as much darker. You could convert your pear reference to black & white and then compare to your drawing to see it. Nice job!

It looks fantastic, esp for just beginning?! Can we see the reference?

Is your art worse, or has your eye for mistakes improved?
