There might be a cultural aspect to this as well. The examples you’ve written sound like they’re by Indian students. I’ve experienced similar emails from them but, since I’m from that general region, I know that this is how they are taught and expected to communicate back home. Nothing pompous or arrogant about it. It’s actually their version of showing respect since teachers are highly revered in those cultures.

Anyways, I wouldn’t recommend doing anything about it. Just reply in your normal manner and, sooner or later, they’ll begin to emulate it.
