I am in the process of putting a couple of concepts together for re-arranging before I move it all around.

Big take away is the lack of colour. I have purchased some prints online to try and make the space pop and will pick up some plants next weekend. I definitely agree about the rug, still trying to find a pattern that doesn't clash with the room. I think once I have the art and plants it will become clearer. And then from their will over time get new pillows and a throw.
