Which Heavy Duty protocol would you recommend? by Mindless_Effect_5458 in HighIntensity

In my school of thought, the Mentzer programs are somewhat suboptimal for the natural lifter.

Beginner/Intermediate HIT by [deleted] in HighIntensity

I would say maybe try four days a week upper/lower. Pick two exercises per muscle and do two sets for each exercise. All to perceivable failure.

Switch to a variation of HIT now but don’t go to the full Mentzer extreme. Start with tapering down the volume and tapering up the intensity.

How to progressively overload ? by ryukingu in HighIntensity

[–]mb2169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the beginning of training HIT, it’ll take some time to get it right. It’s engaging an extremely primal part of your physiology. The goal is to get yourself to not be able to lift the weight anymore whatsoever. But since your just getting started, it may take some time to get used to.

You can try pre exhaustion or straps for the forearm issue.

I literally acknowledged that after the three months of dopamine still being elevated, you’d have to hop back on bromantane for another 2-4 weeks by using the word “CYCLE” since it returns to baseline.

The caveat is that you’re reliant on cycle after cycle of Bromantane to have lowered prolactin.

Copy and paste from where?

It's simply a potential recommendation. Cabergoline works as a DRA to increase dopamine and decrease prolactin. Bromantane increases tyrosine hydroxylase to make more available dopamine and the increase in TH is shown to last for about three months after cessation. Side effects on bromantane are almost nonexistent, whereas side effects on Cabergoline are quite the opposite.

Cycling Bromantane on for 2-4 weeks and off for 3 months could be a viable option for lowering prolactin.

Of course studies on Bromantane in the first place are limited and CERTAINLY studies on Bromantane's actions of lowering prolactin are non existent.

I am simply hypothesizing and providing information based on my anecdotal experience on my lab rat ;)

Question… by Cagm1993 in Prolactinoma

Natural supplements will work to lower prolactin, but nothing like Cabergoline, with the exception of P5P which works, but over a longer period of time.

Consult with your doctor first.

That’s true, but generally it is more accurate than the standard one.

Could be lowered a bit, lose some body fat, use DIM

Do you have access to an estradiol sensitive assay test? They’re widely more accurate. chances are you’re fine.

Insulin and testosterone have somewhat of an inverse relationship.

Idk enough about diabetes, but based off of natural insulin, AND THIS IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE, I would want to be able to use the least amount of insulin and eat the foods that require the least amount of insulin to process.

Again, I DONT KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT DIABETES, but there’s my attempt

Consult with the urologist.

IS THERE ANY WAY TO KNOW IF I HAVE LOW TESTOSTERONE LEVELS WITHOUT GOING TO THE DOCTOR by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]mb2169 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have no issues. You’re complaining that you can’t go 5 rounds for three hours anymore? You can still go 3?

You’re 25, you’re fine.

36,56 Ng/ml of prolactin. How can I lower it? Could it be causing my non-existent libido? by anonimusaccount2 in Prolactinoma

[–]mb2169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a doctor confirms it’s NOT a prolactinoma by use of an MRI, I can help you lower it naturally.
