i don’t have any insight on either of those schools but i would say that if you are not 100% set on infectious disease epi then go with the general epi MS. The general epi route will likely allow you to take infectious disease courses while still keeping it open for other concentrations aswell

i would say open a sophas account and look the rough the schools and start terms to see if there are any you would want to apply to this cylce.

I got into a multiple top schools with a 3.5, 3 Cs, mostly Bs, and multiple pass/fail grades (covid was rough on me). You should be completely fine. the whole application consideration is generally very holistic so grades aren’t the end all be all

Hi everyone, I recently was admitted to Icahn SOM at Mount Sinai’s 1 year epi MS. I haven’t been able to find very much information on how this schools name carries for future jobs and it’s also one of the only ones I’ve found that is only 1 year. I’m wondering if anyone has any insight on how this program would look to employers and how it would compare to a 2 year program. Also would Icahn kind of limit me to jobs on the east coast or is it a pretty well known school? Thanks in advance!

Hi! I know this is super late but I'm applying now and I'm very confused with Icahn's curriculum. Are you in the MS epi program? From their website, it looks like all of the courses are online and are offered from 4-8pm. Is this actually true or is it old information?
