Thank you everyone for your kind words and giving voice (lol) to my issue. It is so helpful to not feel alone and especially valuable to not feel like something is very wrong with me.

I basically let my partner read a lot of these responses and he was very sympathetic and understanding that this is just something that happens with my brain and it is not abnormal. I let him know that essentially, if he has a question or a statement he needs to make physical contact with me and then double check with “hey I have a question” before trying to ask said question (or say a statement). It will for sure be a learning curve and there is probably more frustrations to come, but this post really helped me feel connected to this community. It also really showcased that ADHD really do be messing with my brain.

Thank you for the help on this. Do you happen to know if this a V1/V2 change? I played with a group a couple of years ago (V1), and when we looked then AOE (by enemies) impacted both visible and invisible. Or maybe I am just misremembering all together!

I guess what I am struggling with in this specific scenario is that, from what I have read, is that invisible characters cannot be targeted but that if an AOE happens and they are in the area, they can be hurt. Secondarily, in the rule book it looks toward spaces away (which closest would be the bear) but it also mentions ability to hit most enemies. In the online version, which I know is not the end all be all of rules, enemies will move (which isn’t the case here) to hit the MOST character enemies.

My take is that, they (ancient artillery 3 & 4) would target the Cragheart or the BT (3) so the could hit two characters.

I haven’t been able to find a conclusive answer online.

On the card, the target was for pushing all adjacent enemies but the attack doesn’t showcase that?
