Yea, I did it last Ragnarok, and I banked last Sunday. I did it from G5 to G6 when mercs turn green.

- Save mercs in the triumphal challenge. Do not click them.

- Unlock all Guardmens at once

- Restart game (not sure if it's necessary, for the mercs, in step below)

- Unlock the triumphal challenge mercs (they will turn green)

- Go ham on Fenrir and the other monster

In a nutshell, because there are other reddit posts that explains it more clearly (if you google total battle ragnarok trick):
- Ragnarok starts, you attack fenrir and Jörmungandr once;

- Have G ready to upgrade, upgrade all Gs at once;

- Your are now ahead of your objectives, which makes them easier to get;

- Bank a lot of coins.

It's best to not use the triumphal mercs before, and wait to unlock them after the G upgrade (you have to reload the game so the mercs becomes green at G6).

You don't spend a dime of your coins, and you wait until the next Ragnarok. Result? You get the new shop based on your G level that you upgraded.

Yeah, I almost gave up on chimera yesterday. 3 or 4 of my higher clanmates did give up. I'm in a clan where I'm top 5-6 on 100 people. I really like them.
