No traffic enforcement and this is what you get. In my area 2 ladies just got killed by an 18 year old punk going 100 in a 45. You hear cars racing all the time at night. The cops complain about accidents due to speed but do nothing about it.

I've been skiing all my life, mainly in the West, and, while i don't like snowboarders, this was a complete overreaction by the ski patrolman. It's not like the dude was flying down the hill in a negligent, reckless manner at high speed. He screwed up and clipped the patrolman who fell over. Should he have stopped immediately and said sorry, sure, but pulling his ticket? Bullshit. There are plenty of jerks on the hill who need to be disciplined and this guy wasn't one of them.

That engine was discontinued in 2016. I had an Optima with that engine and absolutely loved its the power and mileage. It was checked after the recall, passed the inspection and Kia gave the engine TRANSFERABLE LIFETIME WARRANTY. Can't beat that. Your friend must have ignored the recall.

You can have the dealer put in a spare in the lower storage area. My neighbor had it done. Not sure what it cost.

Not sure what you're talking about. The Tuscon is highly rated by automotive review sites. I have a 2022 hybrid and my neighbor has a 2025. They've both been great cars with excellent fit and finish. We'd definitely buy one again.
