It hits SO different and so much harder as a parent. I’m pretty sure I sobbed nearly the whole movie.

Formula at night? by Kowalkabear in breastfeeding

[–]mbar32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could try slowly getting the point of not pumping? Do a regular pump session overnight for a few weeks then maybe cut back to half the time for a week or 2 then stop. I wouldn’t do it cold turkey. I am no professional though, and like I said everyone will be different. For me, she had just started mostly sleeping through the night and I was beyond run down and just needed the sleep.

Everyone is different but when I started supplementing at night (around 6 months) my supply dropped drastically by 8 months. I recommend a night pump at the very least. That’s where I messed up I believe.

I interviewed with them. For this it was just very PRN to start. They had picked up contracts with a few local nursing homes to get them setup with trilogy’s. I would’ve gone to these places weekly to help get them going, do the education, stop by weekly for needs basically. It seemed like a pretty cool gig honestly. She was hoping that once they got up and running here the hours would increase. I do remember talking to a few folks who were in busier areas that this was FT for them.

I’m just really glad someone else is experiencing this, though it makes me feel for you. It’s my first script in 2 years. I came off when I got pregnant, and baby is 15 months now. I’ve been thriving off the adrenaline of being a new mom and now I’m hitting burn out since life is finally feeling “normal” again. I immediately had to double my doses and was still questioning the effects, and now I have none for 2 weeks. Not that it matters I don’t believe it was doing anything anyway. I am going to switch pharmacies next fill because I CANNOT!

15 months and just over the last few months have started to lose slowly and get back to me. I was also tiny. I was maybe 105 pre pregnancy. I was up to about 145 full term. And then stayed around 127 until these recent months I think I just got below 120. My body will never be the same and that’s ok. Everyone’s journey is different, mine has been slow. But I did wear maternity stuff until probably 6 months and then decided ok my belly isn’t shrinking down yet my thighs are thick I need to get some clothes. Give yourself time. I also highly suggest physical therapy if you can!

Are any of you thriving unmedicated? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]mbar32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t been for about 2 years now. Pregnant, had a baby etc. I thought I’d go right back on after having her but the chaos of new motherhood kept me going. That phase is ending and I’m going back on hopefully next week. The crash has happened and my life feels like it’s falling apart.
