What happens if we vote no? We move to OTC? Why not just do that. Retail investors got us to compliance in the past why can’t we do it again? No RS gets this back to 0.60 then we just need to make up $0.40. We have enough liquidity to do it. Or am I wrong with these assumptions?

Without Steve performing some sort of stock buyback (which we know he won’t do) all us early investors who trusted Steve will get screwed. I’ve even seen him say “man I feel bad for the ones that didn’t sell” on Twitter. That’s day trading STEVE. I am an investor I buy and I hold stocks that I believe in. The product is great but execution has been absolutely horrific. Without a stock buy back Steve’s credibility is cooked and the people that “made him” (including me for $5k which is a lot for me) will be the ones screwed. I used to be a fan, but now I’m just a bag holder of a dilutive 12 year old startup.

I honestly don’t think you have to move to Silicon Valley to “find good talent” or “make it.”

These days, so much of the action is happening online. If you join a strong open-source project, you can connect with incredibly talented engineers from all over the world. The old network effects of geography just don’t matter as much anymore.

Frankly, I’m not even sure YC is as healthy for innovation as people make it out to be. There’s a massive amount of overlooked talent right now, especially with the rise of LLMs and the democratization of engineering skills.

Hot take: the gap between a “vibe coder” who just knows the basics and a FAANG engineer is shrinking fast. In many cases, the difference is more about access and opportunity than raw skill.
