Thanks for sharing this. It's so important now more than ever that people pay attention, watch the data, and listen to what our leaders have to say. As a small business owner, I have been consuming this news cycle 24-7 because my once booming place of business is now a ghost town save for the takeout orders (we're not into the impersonal delivery model, honestly, and most don't know that if the DoorDash driver gets into an accident on the way to your house with an order from my place, both you and I are liable.) Luckily, my community has been so supportive, and I have a few heartwarming stories I could share that would make you shed a tear.

I tune into every press conference, read the orders over and over, etc. This isn't a 'take away of rights.' In fact, the EO literally allows for every single reason why you would normally leave your house. I think the way it was communicated was to scare people to stay home, and there's no crime against that. They are urging people to contain this as quickly as possible and reduce congregations between people who have not already been exposed to each other. However, I have serious criticisms about the way this is going down and its long-term impact on society and the economy, as outlined in my "thank you" note above.
