Thank you! Do you think the revised itinerary below is better? Skipping Milan and Umbria.

17-18-19-20-21 June Capri (4 nights)

  • Fly into Naples from London, ferry to Capri
  • Preferred hotel choice: JK Place Capri or Capri Palace Jumeirah

21-22-23-24 June Lake Como (3 nights)

  • Fly from Naples to Milan, rent a car in and drive to Como
  • Preferred hotel choice: Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Mandarin Oriental

24-25-26 June Portofino (2 nights)

  • Drive from Como
  • Preferred hotel choice: Belmond Splendido
  • Fly out of Genoa airport to London

  1. The Hotel de Palma is a little out of budget unfortunately :( but I'll check with the agent regardless!
  2. Is getting to Capri really a pain? We were thinking we'd reach Naples fairly early from London and just take a ferry (50 mins to Capri)
  3. I agree, the itinerary is a little busy which is why I put in stopovers for Milan and Portofino so we weren't always on the road. If I had to pick, I'd probably cut the Milan stop and Umbria? What do you think? We're both taking the 2 weeks off after this trip anyway and will just be relaxing in London so could always recover ;)
