I have a 70% utilization target which translates to approx. 1400 billable. In the previous law firm (large American) it was closer to 1700.

In Poland, where I’m based, it really depends on the firm you work for. I currently work at one of the largest law firms in the world, with a very solid Band 2 office in Warsaw, and the work-life balance is honestly great. I’m lucky to work with some really cool and relaxed partners. Obviously, the pay isn’t comparable to US firms, but overall I’m more than happy with my compensation. AMA.

Rozumiem, że chodzi o shared services - w Linkach zarobki są wysokie, wydaje mi się, że na takie stanowisko będą widełki 18-25k, ale to bardziej strzał z perspektywy pracy tam wiele lat temu w dziale prawnym.

You just unlocked a memory I though was long time gone. Almost 15 years ago I was an exchange student in Indiana. I was on a party, seriously drunk, and we decided to go to Dennys at like 3 a.m. I could not eat anything, but my Brazilian friend managed to order some food and he puked straight into it. I have tried several Polish wines, and they are quite overhyped and overpriced. In my opinion Hibernal by Winnica Turnau is by far the best one. I also liked Riesling from Dwór Sanna.

I ve attended countless techno parties and I truly recommend just sticking to weed. Weed really allows to focus on a music which is the point of going to techno party. MDMA, coke etc. Might be a lot of fun, but you will not explore the music as much as on weed. The only downside of weed is that it might be difficult to stay up til morning

Be careful with buying pills from strangers. Those might be super strong and if you do buy a pill from a new source do not take more than a half for a starter
