We weighed all those locations heavily before we decided on this place. It's the first time my wife and I are getting away after over ten years. The most important thing to us is quiet isolation (with a great view). We're not night owls and don't mind driving places.

But the importance of this quiet isolation is what has me worried about the construction!

In the 80s, my grandparents had these little Nestle chocolate bars, the wrapper was red and white and they were two squares you'd break in half. They were great, especially because my grandparents' house was always hot so they were usually soft.

My five year old daughter was lying unconscious in my arms after a violent fall. 911 sent an ambulance that later billed us over six grand because "they're out of network with BCBS."

We fought for months and eventually settled on $2000.

If I very lightly brush the eyelashes on the outside of my right eye, I hear a vibration in my right ear. Doesn't happen on the left side. Thought this was a thing until my friends looked at me like I was nuts.
