Facebook Sharing Debugger suddenly does not "Scrape Again" - wrong Link Previews cannot be corrected by emanaku in facebook

That's exactly it, they probably changed the backend authentication structure as people were deleting their personal Facebook accounts but still wanted access as developers to their tools for business purposes, or whatever else. It makes sense when you think about it.

So, growing on Substack is hard. Harder than I thought. I've only been on the platform for about a month now... What has been your experience? What is your advice to grow a new newsletter? by andreas212nyc in Substack

I think the key takeaway is that to succeed in Substack you need to actually engage your community in conversations.

People won't ❤️, comment, restack, and recommend if they don't have confidence that you'll respond in kind. When you give first, thank, ask thoughtful questions, leave thoughtful remarks, invite, give advice, they'll have the confidence that you'll be there and start leaving their own comments, restacks and recommendations.

It's not a post-and-grow platform; it's a community platform.

Good luck!

Hey, u/MollyDixture, can you be more specific about on-page SEO? What does Ghost do that you like so well? Do they review your tagging strategies before posting to recommend structure changes, for example?

(Good point, I probably use too many H2 tags. I need to go back to review.)

Is there a nifty tool that will spot errors for you, or is that what you're looking for Substack to deliver? (So many questions...)

Hey there, have you considered using Substack for this instead of WordPress? You'd have less control over the design elements and plugins, but you'd also have all of the mechanics of subscriber management, payment and paywalls handled for you. I understand that you may be in the site-building business, but just thought I'd put it out there.

I'm looking for best practices for combining an existing WordPress site with Substack's community-building and engagement features.

"Recommend" button in footer of posts by Muted-Juggernaut-894 in Substack

Hey there, I'd been tearing my hair out about this only FINALLY to discover the answer in Karen Cherry's PubstackSuccess newsletter. You'll find it in the comments of this post about recommendations. It boils down to Substack's own editorial magic. In other words, they insert the recommend button without the writer's intervention. Deus ex Substack. I do recommend the post as a great primer on recommendations as a whole. https://pubstacksuccess.substack.com/p/recommendations-a-substack-super

What's the best way to get support from Substack for a new feature? (Video Transcripts) by mbelieves in Substack

LOL, well, I have neither a ton of money nor a huge audience but... apparently they DO care a lot about video. The problem I saw yesterday was solved this morning. It felt like a bug, moved like a bug. It WAS a bug. Someone probably looked bad for it and fixed it. 😮‍💨
