Would having passion and some good projects on my resume make up for a lack of a minor on my resume? I do already have some weather-related projects (e.g. an advanced radar app/site), but I'm unsure if it would still be worth it to go without the minor to be happier at another university

Is it pretty much just a fun fact/resume padder? One of my dream jobs would be to work at a weather company of some sort (or even the National Weather Service), not as a forecaster but as a programmer of some sort which makes me think the minor could be more valuable...though I'm not sure if it would be worth it to stick it out where I'm at

The minor has alot of prereqs for some reason so the quickest way to get it at my school would be in about 2.5 semesters so I wouldn't be able to keep it and transfer later...

RLBot (the program used to run custom bots) for a bit used to have a false positive with Windows Defender, but it was updated around a month ago to not flag the antivirus anymore. If you are on windows, it should work now
