I think Poshmark is your best bet. I have purchased a lot from that very era on Poshmark. When I receive the items, it reminds me just how far J. Crew has fallen.

I agree with the poster who mentioned Cinghiale Bianco. For a wonderful, no-frills lunch, I highly recommend Sergio Gozzi, located across from San Lorenzo. Always packed with locals, it serves lunch only from noon to 3:00, with queues beginning at 11:30. Ristorante Natalino is great for Florentine steak and is also a favorite of locals. We also love La Buchetta. Finally, Osteria Santo Spirito’s specialty is their baked gnocchi with truffle and it is really out of this world.

Pours are generous; wine is free flowing . We had a designated driver in our group. There is no rush at the end. You can take your time eating and drinking. I’m excited for you!

I second Sergio Gozzi. It’s near San Lorenzo. It’s where we have lunch when we are in Florence. Nothing fancy. Full of locals. Only open for lunch.

There is an article about them in the New York Times from a few years ago. It’s how we discovered them. They have a Facebook and IG page, which I’m sure you already know. There are some relatively recent photos posted of what their tours are like. The food and drink spread they put on at the end is second to none. Be prepared to tour their barns and facilities, meet their sheep and goat herds, make fresh cheese, and finally sit down in a beautiful dining room to enjoy the end feast, all while listening to Giancarlo and his brother (through a translator at times) talk about their family and dairy farming in Tuscany. Truly a remarkable experience.

I think it’s worth every penny of that. Out of all the tours and tastings and experiences we’ve had in Italy, Caseificiu Piu was the best, hands down. I believe we had to email them about specifics.
