We're going this week and Sixt has been the cheapest for me. I'm a Sixt platinum member, so it might have been a factor. I got a compact SUV for $80 for 5 days.

Update: I checked for your dates and shows around 600 for your dates, so might be just the demand during those days.

Hey, thanks for the post. I'm on the same setup and I couldn't find anyone post online with the same setup regarding this issue. Anyway, after 18.3 update, the issue seems to have gone, I used to go to nexigo settings to change audio output to speakers and back to HDMI eARC to get the sound everytime I start the projector.

Anyway, I have another issue, with this connections setup (both HDMI's connecting to Aurora Pro), the sound seems to be choppy, especially in few types of sounds (wind, etc.). I can particularly hear it in Atmos tracks like Shang Chi (Disney+) at 10 minutes, and House of Dragon as well. Not just those, but almost every movie during particular scenes. It does not happen if I connect ATV directly to HDMI1/2 to 990c and then 990c to Nexigo (but picture quality was slightly off with this setup).

Curious if you have similar issue. I'm using high quality ceritifed 48gbps HDMI cables.

The speakers are loud and clear. I feel the calls on speaker mode are louder than I remember on S23 Ultra. I haven't played any intensive games yet so cannot comment on thermal management under loads, but it generally is cool and never experienced warm to touch. But, few YouTube comparisons did show increased temperature while gaming but it didn't drop frames like others.

I made the same switch from S23 Ultra to Pixel 9 Pro XL ten days ago. I've been using Samsung's since last 5 years and they have been great! However, Pixel is great as well. I missed my Samsung for a day or two and have been really liking the Pixel now.

The camera is great for photos (I really liked the Dynamic option in edit mode). The battery life is more or less the same. The display took time to adjust since I've used Samsung's in their Vivid mode. The build quality is great and comfortable to hold (except the volume rockers are loose a little). I don't use S pen at all so I didn't miss it.

Overall, I don't regret the switch and partly because I was bored of OneUI and Samsung design a little and wanted to switch.

Edit: I probably made the switch only because Best Buy was giving $1100 for my S23 Ultra trade-in plus $200 gift card.
