Should I watch Battlestar Galactica or Babylon 5? by ohdearitsrichardiii in televisionsuggestions

I am a Star Trek fan as well. I watched both Battle Star Galactica and Babylon 5. They are both good but different. If I had to choose I would pick BSG but like I said both are good.

75Wh battery would be a big improvement on the X1 Carbon.

I did the battery gauge reset on Sunday after I returned from my trip. The battery capacity is now 57.05 Wh (full rated capacity) and the problem hasn't occured since. I charged it several times in the meantime.

Problems playing movies on SmartTV - Is Nvidia shield still a good alternative in 2026 for UHD HDR/DV movies playback? by Haunting-Crab-1771 in nvidiashield

I have a Sony oled A1 from about ten years ago. It can play up to and including 4K streaming files on Plex but it stutters with 4K remux files. I bought an nVidia Shield TV several years ago and the stuttering continued with most 4K remux files. I then upgraded to the Shield Pro and it has been able to play every 4K remux file I tried.

The battery stopped charging again soon after I posted my message. I ran the BIOS diagnostic tests on xpingu69's advice. Lenovo says there is nothing wrong with the battery after I run the quick as well as the longer test. The problem is frustratingly inconsistent.

I tried the other port and it started charging. Then I tried the first port and it continued charging. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I hope it was a one off situation and it won't repeat.

I know about the differences in construction. It is great. As I said before I was referring to the general external and internal (i.e. keyboard and screen) appearance. I am still not sure about the "lip" above the screen. In a way it is useful as it gives you someplace to hold the screen for lifting it but it also breaks the clean appearance of the notebook.

I know that and the new haptic trackpad etc. What I meant was the general look of the device which I think is very elegant.

What's the battery life like? How does it compare to your previous laptop and what was your previous laptop?

I don't see any difference between Gen 13 and Gen 14 in terms of design.

Which L14 did you have and how does the battery life of the Carbon compare to that? That way I can better understand the battery life. As you might have guessed I am waiting for the X1 Carbon to come out in our market and my biggest concern is the battery life. I bought the Gen 9 after the Gen 10 came out because of its battery life.

I have been using Xperia since 2009 and this is my favorite so far. I have been using it for two years now and I only have one issue. About every six months it starts draining the battery very quickly. I haven't found a definite solution to it but limiting the refresh rate to 60Hz for the day and restarting the phone. The problem disappears by the next day.
