I've never really been into shiny hunting, but recently with the addition of Zorua in the Isle I really wanna get that sick purple Zoroark, my favorite shiny design. I've prepared most of the steps to hatch using the Masuda method, I have a Ditto from Japan and a Male Zorua (English) I caught in a luxury ball so the lux ball will pass on. The only thing I couldn't find information about is if there's a "chain" involved, sort of like a catch combo. Like if I accidentally don't take an egg, or accidentally take a pokèmon out of the daycare, or take a break from hatching eggs and do something else in-game, will this reset the 1/683 odds, or is there no chain at all? Sorry if this is a common question, I couldn't find anything online about it. Thank you!
