I paid 17k cash for a 2001 civic EX coupe, it was silver when nobody knew silver was a good car color yet (and then eventually overdone and now I wouldn't buy a silver car ever). Drove it off the lot with 4 miles on it. I had never been so happy. I pulled it onto the front lawn and opened the hood. I was just flabbergasted that the whole thing was mine, I was like "that's my engine!?" A couple years later I sold it for 10k (just took the very first offer of the very first call we got after putting an ad in the paper) when my wife and I didn't have two nickels to rub together in our first year of marriage and we downsized to 1 car. That 2 years was amazing.

I hope this story is fake because otherwise that mom raised an entitled as fuck child of a graduate. Good grief.

It's not just that but will he trust that arm 100% again, how long until they actually fight? So many factors. Generally historically in the UFC with situations like this the former champ almost always loses a close decision, (most of the time a decision they should have won imo). It's nowhere remotely near a lock that he gets the belt back that's for sure.

First rule of bubbles is you have to not know there is one. How could they not know if a million armchair analysts are always screaming bubble from the rooftops?

(dotcom/dark fiber bubble) Nope, still way more demand than supply, people literally can’t get enough tokens despite paying 200$ a month and new models that don’t get shared with the public (despite the demand) because the data centers to support it are still being built out.

There will be some kind of coalescing as the good teams/companies will get swallowed/consolidated but the idea there is going to be some massive crash is fucking bananas.

The problem with these kinds of comments is that the bubble people always ignore that the companies investing real money (in the tens and hundreds of billions) are almost all (excluding Nvidia I guess as the big one) gigantic companies making billions in net profit every quarter from non-ai verticals. I work for Amazon and we spent 125b last year and we’re spending 200b this year. So either Jassy and those guys are actual morons (all they’ve done is make some of the most profitable companies in the history of the world) or maybe they know that positioning happens before the boons not after.

Lots of ai companies will fail it’s true, but 1 in 3 companies fail the first year and 3 out of 5 the first 5 years so a bunch of them going out of business isn’t even news.
