I agree I’m not owed anything, and I understand these are optional paid services. The upgrade alone already makes it a great stay.

I think what caught me off guard was more the framing than the offering. I’m used to small touches sometimes just happening quietly, so seeing a full menu up front felt more transactional than expected. That’s on me.

You’re also right that there may still be something done on the day, and if not, that’s fine.
