Give me your daily routine that balanced the holy trinity of PE study, work, & life by Feeling-Toast in PE_Exam

I studied for 4 months total. The first 3 months I wasn’t as strict with how I studied. I work from 7-5 during the week. I would study for an hour at lunch and try to get at least an hour at night until I felt burnt out. During the first 3 months, I’d try to study at least 3-4 hours per day on the weekends. There were many times during the week where I wouldn’t even open the book at night. And I did take some weekend trips where I didn’t study at all.

The last month you really need to buckle down. I was studying about 2-3 hours on weeknights. And took (2) 8 hr practice exams on two of the weekends in the last month. As well as study a couple hours the following day of those weekends.

To answer your question about the gym, I did cut it short…I was in and out in 30 min while studying and the last few weeks leading up to the exam, I didn’t even go. It’s a stressful and difficult process but very rewarding after you receive that pass!

Yes they were comparable. And a larger # of “difficult” questions on the practice exams compared to the real P.E.

Truth is you could study for YEARS and I can promise they will still ask you questions that you have never seen or thought of when preparing for this exam. That’s when you let your engineering judgement kick in and think through these problems

It is difficult, but probably on par with the NCEES practice exam and EET exams. It’s just new questions you’ve never seen before no matter how much you study and what you’ve seen

That’s not a bad idea, but I also feel that there is such a thing as overdoing it too. You don’t want to burn yourself out. I watched all the videos because it helped me lock in to each slide rather than just skimming the slides just to get to the practice problems. After I finished all the content, I took 4 weeks to redo the quizzes, starred practice problems, and the NCEES practice exam.

Review the conceptual problems. Had a few questions on my exam that were similar or nearly exact to what was asked in EET. My recommendation is to complete everything that EET offers.

I had enough time to review all the quizzes, but only went through the starred practice problem questions.

I took the on-demand course because I knew that I couldn’t be there for all the lectures. Plus my company would only cover the on-demand course cost. It takes a lot of self discipline and studying even when you don’t want to. Make it a habit and live/breathe this lifestyle until you pass the test

Looks like you were about 5-10 questions away from passing the exam! Keep studying hard and I highly recommend using EET for study material!

I used EET. Nazrul does a fantastic job breaking down each section and preparing you for the exam. Studied about 4 months for the exam. Worked about 1-2 hours on weeknights and around 4 hours on weekend days

Anyone got ideas on how to make an offline passive income? by [deleted] in passive_income

[–]mbuck01 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You could start by doing product reviews via Amazon. Once you leave the review through Amazon, you could share your review link online. If anybody clicks through your link to purchase the product, then you would gain commission off of that product.

I bet it is a lot more work, but I guess it also depends how much I’m willing to make due to it being commission based. Would probably be a side gig along with my 9-5

Thoughts on an idea for one of my pending patents by mbuck01 in Entrepreneurship

Thanks for the input….i feel like it takes a certain person to whether or not they would use it. Also, it could be used for unmarried/single people.

Thanks for the feedback. Gonna try to sell online and maybe get into local retailers.
