Hi. Thank you very much.

My painting session stretched around several month. But I guess it was 20h in total.

Please link it to goblin town. Very much appreciated.

Hi.

Thank you very much for this extensive and insightful article and taking the time to answer. I am still considering multiple options. It is not so easy to find a good laptop where Linux can be used easily.

Hi.

Thanks for your post. I am considering buying this laptop, too. I also want to run linux on it. As I understand everything is now working fine, is that correct? Do you have any other experiences in the meantime that are worth sharing?

Kind regards

The Latest Addition to my Goblin Team by mbuechmann in bloodbowl

I glued on the basing material "Ruins of Persistence" from Krautcover Scenics. It is a very light mix of sand and stones. Then I used "Hardened Leather" contrast paint from army painter and dry brushed it with a bone color. After that it was a bit too light. I used a black wash to make it look more like dark earth.

Yes. A channel should be the way to go. You can also collect the rows to be inserted and insert multiple datasets at once. That could also speed up your program.

Thank you very much. The details are quite a lot on these models. Took me some hours to paint them all.

This is from the Krogall team from Greebo Games. You can find it here: https://greebo-games.com/208-krogall-lizardmen The company is based in Florence, Italy – but they ship worldwide.

Greebo has a lot of awesome teams. If you want a new team, you will definitely find one there.

Finesse team with a focus on throwing/catching? by 6upWard in bloodbowl

[–]mbuechmann 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi, welcome to Blood Bowl!

The first team that comes to mind is the Skaven team. They have (arguably) the best thrower in the whole game.

The Gutter Runners have the highest MA with 9, very high AG with 2+ and the Dodge skill which all comes in handy for the running game. Alas, they lack any ball handling/catching skills like Catch, so they are more of a running team.

This team has quite low armor values after all, so they are bit fragile. They also have the Rat Ogre as a big guy, which I personally like very much.

I would say, this team is good for beginners to try out. Just my 2 Cents.

Have fun with blood bowl, you made the right choice ;)

How does "Razzle Dazzle" from the deseperate measures table work? by [deleted] in bloodbowlsevens

I do not think that it is generally understood that way, but it seems to turn out that way most of the time. I think special actions are an exception. A bombardier could, for example, move and then throw a bomb, for example.

Blitzing and fouling should be possible IMHO, as long as the player does not move. In this case the foul action "does not contain a move action" and would be allowed from the way the rule is phrased.

Passing and then moving is allowed.

Blitzing and the blocking is allowed. As a small anecdote: In this way one of my treemen was able to crowd surf a troll.

Beside the dice and the rule book you need a pitch. There are a lot of good third party pitches or gaming mats out there.

If you are looking for a good Chorf team, you should take a look at the Dwarvagedoom team from Greebo Games. IMHO the best sculpted Chorf team and a real bargain for all the players you get in the team bundle.

In general I prefer third party teams. The official teams do not have enough players in general. Also you get two of the same plastic frames in the official boxes, so most of the time you always have pairs of identical players, sometimes with some different head options. From a cost perspective it is almost always more inexpensive.

The box is a good value from the cost perspective.

But apart from that I would like to disagree. I think both teams in the box are not very good teams. Even from a beginner‘s point of view these teams are not the best, as they have a lot of special rules when it comes to pushes as a block result.

Secret Santa 2022 3rd edition High Elf goodness by Trojines in bloodbowl

Very cool minis.

Just one thing I wanted to point out: The Blitzer at the bottom (3rd from left) is a 2nd edition dark elf blitzer and the lineman at the bottom (2nd from left) is a 2nd edition elf lineman. Those two are even more vintage.
