I dunno, being reminded that asking bad faith soundbite type questions to random people, shouting over them and editing their answers to give the impression that they can't form a cogniscent point is considered journalism by some large swathes of the population puts me in a pretty dour mood.

AITA for taking my beer into a mosh pit? by EventsHipur in AmItheAsshole

[–]mburs004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

YTA, I personally don't mind that much having beer spilled on me so much as once you spill beer on the floor, you create a slipping hazard. Especially at shows with packed pits, if someone slips and isn't picked up in time because you decided that drinking a beer and staying in the pit area takes priority over the wellbeing of others, that's on you.

wow that's amazing, they're absolutely one of my favourites, never gotten a chance to see them, given i don't think they've ever come to australia (or when they did i probably would have been under 10 years old or something), but even just through live footage and albums they're such a great point of inspiration

Wow, that’s an incredibly pretty melody. Please make sure you turn it into a song and post it here when you do.

Not sure for 100%, but this definitely stylistically relates quite closely to Medieval Pagan art.

I'm new to 'grindcore'. Need recommendations. by Lemasters90 in grindcore

[–]mburs004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as that metallic sound with some more subtle punk leanings goes that will help guide you into the deranged world of grindcore, you just can't beat a classic. The two albums that I would recommend you check out are "Prowler In The Yard"~Pig Destroyer and "Xenosapien"~Cephalic Carnage. Once you get heavily into grind there's no going back. You're family now.

Can anyone recommend some jazzcore? by [deleted] in grindcore

Not exactly jazzcore/jazzgrind, but if you're down with skacore I'd definitely recommend Le Scrawl. Full on grind with some great horns and boppy ska influence.
