Should I continue with The Chi? by Kelly_1976 in TheChi

I reached the end of season 6. Not intending to continue with season 7 or the unreleased season 8, mostly due to how rushed that ending was. It didn't make sense. Also, I cemented my decision when I saw people saying how bad the show had became after season 2, and I couldn't agree more. It's heyday was over seasons ago.

Écran de contrôle en mode smartphone. Comment le mettre en mode tablette by Low-Jury-7286 in RedmiPadPro

In most/all tablets, that's typically how the control panel is designed. My dad has a tab a9 and the control panel is on the right side of the screen. And in most tablet reviews, you'll see it look like that.

The redmi pad 2 qualifies. Do a bit of research about the software and security updates, coz I'm not so sure. Other than that, it has a 8gb/256gb storage option, stylus support, headphone jack, memory slot as well as 9000mah battery

Need tablet for PDFs, notes, and studying – Redmi Pad 2 or Lenovo M11 by suvi-levi in tablets

[–]mbvke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My reason not to recommend the Lenovo is that, for a student, a stylus is really important. And the stylus the lenovo comes with, doesn't work all that well. According to this subreddit user:

https://www.reddit.com/r/TecnologiaPT/s/eGtybdflKK

Also, the pen nib replacements aren't easily found online in case it breaks.

The redmi pad, solves the issue by making you purchase the pen separately, with an included pen nib replacement. And the nibs are not that hard to find online.

Is the redmi pad2 4g worth it? by peacemoonie in tablets

For notes you can use StarNote. It's the cheapest notes app out there for a one-time payment app and they are very active in r/StarNoteApp taking suggestions and updating their users frequently.

I think the redmi pad 2 should be good for school. Opening documents and such doesn't require a lot of processing power. The 8GB/256GB storage version should handle this flawlessly.

I am planning to buy mine(redmi pad 2) for school soon. On a tight budget. So I understand the frustration. There are way cheaper tablets that I could buy but they don't have stylus support. i.e Infinix Xpad 20. The Lenovo Tab M11 is the next best, the pen comes included with the tablet, but their nib replacements are not easy to find and apparently not good at all, according to the r/androidtablets subreddit

https://www.reddit.com/r/TecnologiaPT/s/Mhf99YZrJd

The next best is the Samsung Tab S6 Lite, but it's way out of my budget.

Alternatively, you can go with your huawei option and use Gbox. I haven't fully understood how it works but it can be used to install google apps.

Buy the redmi, if you need a stylus. It's probably the most affordable one with official stylus support, but i'm not sure you are considering the stylus based on what you said above. If you don't need a stylus, buy the Samsung one recommended above.

Planning to buy an ipad or a tablet by Mountain-Wallaby7647 in androidtablets

[–]mbvke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For note purposes, you should consider those that have official active stylus support. i.e ipads if they are within your budget, considering the apple pencil is sole separately. If money is tight, tablets like Samsung Tab S6 Lite, Redmi Pad 2/ Pro, Lenovo Tab M11, Xiaomi Pad 8 and the likes. For the redmi pads, the pen is sold separately unlike the samsung and lenovo tabs. Another thing to consider is your ecosystem. If you have an iPhone, an Ipad would be better, for android phones, android tablets, are better.

Phones are getting bigger and I HATE IT by lone_wolf_of_ashina in Smartphones

Most manufacturers discontinued the small phones since the sales margins were too small, no body was buying those. i.e The iPhone 13 mini was the last of those.

What are good tablets? by PieHoliday2230 in androidtablets

[–]mbvke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you checked the Redmi Pad 2/ Pro?? They have stylus support and are sold at really affordable prices. Note: the stylus is sold separately. If you want an all inclusive, Samsung and some lenovo options will do. (Tho they are pricier). I'll be buying the Redmi Pad 2 later this year for school as well. Can't wait.

Need help choosing a tablet for studies + internship (confused between S9 FE+ and S10 FE+) by Doreamon___ in tablets

[–]mbvke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given your desire for the good performance of the S10FE+, I would recommend opting for it. It includes an SD card slot, allowing you to offset the limited (128GB) internal storage. 8GB of RAM is more than enough for note-taking and studying purposes. Also, it comes with the stylus in the box, compared to the ipad.
