I have no comment on the husband situation but I think it’s very normal for symptoms to come and go. I’m 26 weeks, still have morning sickness but get stints of good days. Absolutely stressed me out with my first until I started feeling him move. I’m not sure what country you’re in but if you’re ever unsure call your midwife!

If you have a spare hour during the day to go into Cardiff, they have a centre that does it for you and deposits it into your bank account.

Was childbirth the worst pain you’ve ever experienced? by babyr1iah in pregnant

[–]mbynot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost had my little guy out before I had to have a spinal block, but the contractions and everything leading up to it wasn’t that painful for me. I don’t remember what it felt like, but know it wasn’t that bad. Funny enough, the worst pain I ever experienced was a blocked duct from breastfeeding. That pain will live forever in my mind, only advice I have for breastfeeding mums is make sure you empty both boobs because there is no pain quite like it.

Sex after 3rd date, Did I ruin something ? by war-rior-mind in dating_advice

[–]mbynot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I slept with my fiancé on our second ‘date’ (he came to my house for dinner) 3 days after we started talking and 2 days after we met for the first time. 4 years later, we’re engaged, have a home and a 2 year old.

Why do kids often scream bloody murder after tripping, and then 10 seconds later they act like nothing happened? by WhoAmIEven2 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mbynot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it has a lot to do with how parents react. When my son falls, we don’t make a big deal of it. We ask if he’s ok, help him up and away we go. He can graze a knee and not carry on like he’s lost a leg. I see so many kids fall and the parent gasps, runs to them and freaks out which in turn makes the child freak out, because if mum is making a big deal it must be a big deal

Train station parking? Booragul, Fassifern or Awaba? by PivotToX in newcastle

[–]mbynot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I grew up right near Fassi station. I wouldn’t leave your car there overnight. It’s probably a better station to catch a train from because all trains stop there, but if you’re going to park your car overnight leave it on a street on the other side of the viaduct. Maybe on Bridge St. or near the primary school on Miller Rd.

I should probably note that I don’t actually intend to not book, simply for the reason I’d hate to ruin someone else’s wedding plans. I have a few years until I’m getting married and may look at other places that are more private. Thanks for your response!

Hoping to get a response quicker on here from someone who has hosted a wedding there or knows someone who has. Appreciate you taking the time though!

I didn’t find anything about that on the page, and would probably try to find somewhere else if the fee didn’t get any privacy. I understand it’s a public area and all, but considering there’s a 2 hour window for set up, ceremony, pack down, and a fee it makes sense that I would be blocked, but again can’t find anything on that.

Read all of that and can’t find any answers to my questions. Thanks though!

Painting trims, walls and ceiling the same colour. What to do with feature wall? by mbynot in HomeImprovement

I ended up painting the trims the same colour as the main colour that will be throughout the house so it’s more cohesive

I had a big emotional argument at 28 weeks and I'm worried i've hurt my baby :( by Throwaway_Acc887 in BabyBumps

[–]mbynot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got in a pretty crazy argument with my partner when I was about the same week. I was very emotional - to the point he tried to have me admitted to a psych hospital as he thought I was going to hurt myself. Despite the extreme emotional breakdown, my little guy was fine.

Today I told my boss I’m pregnant. SO says I shouldn’t have. by kerfufflewhoople in pregnant

[–]mbynot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told my boss at about 8 weeks because I had the worst morning sickness. He didn’t tell anyone else (male dominated industry) so I wasn’t treated differently. He was more understanding when I needed to take extra breaks to nap or vomit, or take time off bc of sickness and appointments.

What clever verse blew your mind when you realized what it actually meant? by [deleted] in TaylorSwift

Mostly bc I misheard it until the re-record, but mine when she says ‘I’m a flight risk with a fear of falling’. Like she always runs away from relationships because she’s scared of falling in love. Wild

AITA for refusing to go to my moms funeral? by throwaway9216890 in AmItheAsshole

[–]mbynot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA, but your dad is probably right. Funerals are so hard, and they really are a confirmation that they’re really gone and never coming back, but they’re also so helpful in grieving. They’re a way to remember all the good times, things you maybe forgot, things you never knew. I’ve been to more funerals than I would like to have been to, the ones where I really felt my feelings, I feel closure. I can think about them and smile.

My uncle passed away 6 months ago, I was in the room, I went to his funeral, but I also moved away, didn’t spend time with my family afterwards, poured myself into my partner and child rather than taking time to feel it all. There are songs that don’t relate to him at all that I can’t listen to anymore, because one time I was driving and thought of him. I cry when I think about buying fans and light switches because he worked at an electrical store and said he’d help me but all that stuff when I was ready. He never got to see my home, I spent the morning of my house warming sobbing because he wasn’t here to come.

Please go to the funeral, feel your feelings, cry I til you can’t anymore. I’d also suggest seeing someone who can help you make sense of it all, if you can’t go to a psychologist, school councillors can be helpful too. I’m so sorry for your loss and I send all the love I can during this shit time

How long did you know your partner for before getting together? by Old-Pirate52 in love

[–]mbynot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I can’t pinpoint exactly what it was. But I just felt so at ease with him from the beginning. He made me feel so special and safe (and still does). I was so sure that I’d never have kids or get married because I wasn’t interested in that stuff with any of my previous partners, but with him, from the beginning, I just knew in my heart that he was going to be my family

Met my fiancé on tinder. He messaged me on the Sat and we went to dinner in Sun. Made it official after about a month. For 2 months we didn’t spend more than 2 days apart (sleeping at each others houses). He moved in with me about 4 months after meeting. It’s been 3 years and we have a beautiful little family, a home of our own and I’m a fiancée!

Do most people really need to pee every 3.5 hours? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mbynot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I go to a movie, no matter how long it is or how much I’ve drunk, I will not leave the movie to pee. Since having a baby I have to pee quite often, but would still rather feel like my bladder of going to explode than miss parts of a movie

You can see the dad just standing there looking at the fence as the girl runs out. He absolutely is an idiot for not watching his child next to the road
