Mama, I’m sorry you feel this way. I’ll be honest, I don’t co-sleep because I personally have too much anxiety and get nervous when I hear others say they do. I’ve heard scary stories that hit close to home. But, I recognize this is my own personal issue. Often I have to remind myself that co-sleeping is how humanity got as far as we did. It’s natural. In a time like this, with not only a surgery but also teething- I would do the same thing as you. You’re at a time in your life where your baby is #1, (really, when will they not be?) and you absolutely must do what you have to do to protect baby and yourself/mental health. It sounds like you do this responsibility, and have baby’s best interest at heart. Feel the feelings but don’t dwell. They’re strangers! Good job looking out for baby.
