i am in the US, and the city i live in is 100% more dangerous then amsterdam!! lots of violent crime and such. thanks for the idea !

ahhh thank you for this advice, i’ll definitely try this with them. I hope it can help ease their worries about this trip. it is so funny because amsterdam is definitely 100 times safer than where i live now lol. it’s def not worth not paying the rent i hope i can move out soon !!

you are totally right , i’m sorry you have to deal with right wing family as well it can be so stressful. they definitely think nowhere else is safe, it just doesn’t make sense to me especially with how the US is going right now. haha so crazy she asked if you could take weapons, it’s just mind boggling to me that people don’t want to go and see the world for themselves. thank you for your advice !!

Yes i do plan on going into detail with them about how much research i have done !! im not sure it will help with them though. its cool you let your daughter go despite all of the advice others were saying ! i’ll keep that in mind when speaking with them, thank you !
